Race ads

Race ads have been used since the 1800's. Examples of this are Uncle Bens Rice and Aunt Jemina Pancakes. These companies used race to appeal to their target audience the same way any other ad does. Race is just another thing used by companies to advertise their product. It is effective and accepeted therfore race will be used in ads for years and years to come. Race ads shouldn't be treated differently than any other asspect of advertising because by giving it special attention we are atleast as bad as the marketers who decide to use race in their ads.
